Pet loving wine lovers can support their four legged friends while enjoying the Central Coast Wine Region.
The third annual Wine 4 Paws, a fundraising event for Woods Humane Society, will be held at over 50 participating wineries throughout the Central Coast on this weekend, April 9 and 10.
During this weekend, Wine 4 Paws wineries will donate a portion of their proceeds to Woods Humane Society. “Each year we’ve seen both wineries and wine drinkers get more involved – so many have gotten their pets from Woods, and they really want to give back as a thank you for such a wonderful family member,” Wine 4 Paws Director Sarah Tomasetti said. “We have wineries supporting Wine 4 Paws all year long, and for both locals and visitors it’s become an annual wine tasting weekend for them. It’s a great way to help raise money for Woods while also supporting our local wineries.”
The event includes a free passport, available to print from the Wine 4 Paws website or at any participating winery during the event. When you visit a winery to support Wine 4 Paws, you’ll get your passport stamped, and with 4 stamps your passport will be entered to win one of many raffle prizes.
Wine 4 Paws is held concurrently at all participating wineries, and with over 50 wineries participating this year, you’ve got plenty to choose from. Come out to your favorite wineries – or pick some new ones! To see a full list of participating wineries and a get a free printable passport and map, go to www.wine4paws.com.
Then head out to the wineries of your choice and mention Wine 4 Paws when you taste and buy wine during the weekend of April 9 - 10. A portion of your sale or tasting fee will be donated to Woods Humane Society on behalf of the wineries!
