More than 300 volunteers are needed to make the San Luis Obispo Triathlon a successful event on July 25 at Sinsheimer Park. Help is needed on all courses: swim, bike and run.
Individuals are always welcome and organizations, teams and groups are encouraged to cover stations together as a great team building activity. All volunteers will receive a free Triathlon T-shirt, water bottle, reusable shopping bag, thundersticks and an appreciation raffle entry.
A volunteer meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 21 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ludwick Community Center, 864 Santa Rosa Street, San Luis Obispo. If you would like to volunteer for the SLO Triathlon please complete one of the following: - online survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/slotriathlonvolunteer or
- attached volunteer entry form.
Completion, rather than competition, is the focus of the San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department’s Triathlon. Each participant is encouraged to set and meet his or her own personal goal. This short course (or sprint) triathlon offers something for everyone; accommodating the novice participant while still challenging the experienced athlete.
