Businesses having to deal with recession woes are in luck. SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Business, presents a business workshop to address key issues facing businesses today.
The workshop will focus on financial reports, presented by Christina Gibford and Glenn Burdette; marketing and customer focus, presented by Larry Rutter from the SCORE Marketing Committee; and effective handling of Human Resource issues, presented by Melinda Thomas, president of FIT Financial.
Aimed at individuals who have been in business from one to three years, the free SCORE workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 22 in the conference room of the City/County Library, 995 Palm Street in San Luis Obispo.
A question-and-answer session featuring a panel of SCORE counselors and presenters will follow the presentations.
Due to limited seating, reservations are recommended. To make a reservation, visit www.sloscore.org and click on “workshops”, or call (805) 547-0779. SCORE mentoring teams will be in attendance to arrange follow-up meeting with interested business managers.
