Stephen Burns returns to Light Photography Workshops, September 29, for a four day photography workshop that will challenge you both technically and creatively. The class is designed to take you through the entire creative process from photographing your concepts to creating powerful techniques in Photoshop that will bring your final vision to fruition. The Workshop “Landscape Photography and the Digital Collage” with Stephen Burns will be happening Sept. 29 – Oct. 2, at Light Workshops’ facility 1060 Los Osos Valley Rd., Los Osos. Instruction will begin Thursday at 9 a.m.
Stephen Burns has been a corporate instructor and lecturer in the application of digital art and design for the past 12 years. He has been exhibiting digital fine art internationally at galleries such as Durban Art Museum in South Africa, Citizens Gallery in Yokahama, Japan, and CECUT Museum of Mexico, to name a few. He has also published seven books, including Photoshop Tickery & FX. He began as a photographer 28 years ago and progressed toward the digital medium. His artistic influences include the great Abstractionists & the Surrealists including Jackson Pollock, Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, Franz Kline, Mark Rothko, Mark Tobey, and Lenore Fini, to name a few.
