The February meeting of the Central California Coast Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) will be presented Tuesday, February 16, 2010, by Jason M. Diani, SPHR, Executive Administrator, Diani Companies. Diani will update meeting attendees with an informative presentation on the topic, “Interview Techniques – What the Interviewer and the Interviewee Should Know.”
Diani is a native Santa Marian and attended local schools before obtaining a Bachelors of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. Upon graduation, Diani joined Arthur Andersen, LLP and worked in the Practice Management Group for two years before returning to Santa Maria to join the Diani Companies; a third generation participant of his family owned business where he is currently employed. Since returning to Santa Maria, Diani graduated from Leadership Santa Maria Valley, attended the Santa Maria Police Department Citizen’s Academy, and currently serves on the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as Chairman Elect/Treasurer. Diani is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Residing in Santa Maria with his wife and children, Diani is an active participant within his local community and offers experience and knowledge to all those he encounters. NAWIC is a not-for-profit organization providing educational and networking opportunities to local women affiliated with the construction industry. Those who attend include students, company owners, managers, and personnel who work closely with construction related issues in their organizations. Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday, of each month at 6:15 pm. Cost to attend this month’s dinner meeting at the Historic Santa Maria Inn is $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
