United Staffing Associates (USA) will present successful staffing, supervision, and safety techniques for this year’s crush season survival.

The Crush Course was initially created by USA Paso Robles Branch Manager Cynthia Garcia in response to the issues area wine growers, supervisors and business owners experience throughout Harvest.

After speaking with many in the local wine industry, Garcia will host the informative two-hour seminar on July 13 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Paso Robles Inn, located at 1103 Spring Street, Paso Robles. A continental breakfast will be provided.

Speakers include Jeannine Young, USA chief operating officer who will present the staffing portion of the seminar titled, Benefits of a Flexible Workforce; presenting supervision as it pertains to the wine industry, Betsey Nash, USA director of human resources will present Tips & Techniques and Driving Production on a 12-hour Work Day; and lastly, Titan Supply’s Keith Cox will present the safety aspect of the program which will include the topics: confined spaces, first-aid, CPR, and gas protection. Cox will also present Regulation Awareness and Demos, Tips & Techniques.
