Hunger can strike at any time, and the Food Bank Coalition of SLO County is trying to ensure that no family goes hungry in San Luis Obispo County.

How can you help? Join the Food Bank at its third annual Hunger Walk of San Luis Obispo County in September.

This year’s walk will take place on Sept 25 at 2 p.m. at eight convenient sites across the county. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the walk begins promptly at 2 p.m.

A whopping 75 percent of the funds raised by gathering sponsors will directly help those in San Luis Obispo County, while the other 25 percent will be donated to C.A.R.E International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to worldwide hunger relief.
