Most people know that a healthy lifestyle consists of a nutritious diet and regular exercise. But many are faced with the problem of not knowing how to take care of the "behind the scenes" prep-work required for that healthy lifestyle.

There’s a solution -- Curves of San Luis Obispo Weight Management Classes.

The Curves Weight Management Classes provide useful tips and information from topics such as Smart Grocery Shopping and Eating Out to Osteoporosis and Vitamin D.

And on March 13 at 1:30 pm the Curves San Luis Obispo will offer a free 30-minute class focused on lowering cholesterol. The class will be taught by Curves’ Registered Dietician, Nadia Rodman, via DVD and facilitated by weight management coaches from Curves of San Luis Obispo.

"We have to be knowledgeable to make good choices," Milburn said. "And this class will provide information and tips for day-to-day application as we aim for a healthy lifestyle."

The Curves classes are based on new research findings of the Exercise & Sport Nutrition Laboratory at Texas A&M University.  Classes are free to members and non-members.
