Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo will present "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" as the first theatrical production in the new Cultural and Performing Arts Center (CPAC), opening on April 29. The Shakespearean play, directed by bree valle, will feature actors and aerial fabric acrobats in an enchanted, moonlit forest setting.
"'Pan's Labyrinth' and 'Alice in Wonderland' both inspired the visual palate," said valle. The production will run on April 29, April 30, May 1, May 2, May 6, May 7 and May 8. All shows will be at 7:30 p.m. in the CPAC, except May 2 which will be at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for children under 12, $10 for students and $15 for general admission.
