From tastings and pairings to live shows and seasonal activities, there’s always something happening at Meridian. Meridian Vineyards will be hosting two cooking classes in April: the Spring Treats Cooking Class and the Easter Entertaining Cooking Class.
On Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m., Meridian Vienyards invites the public to its Spring Treats Cooking Class for an afternoon of entertainment, while participants learn the art of pairing food and wine. This spring-themed class is brought to you by Two Cooks Catering and includes menu items such as Rosemary Marinated Chicken Breast Skewers, Baby Lettuce and Spinach Salad with Heirloom Tomato Vinaigrette, Local Sablefish with Red Miso Citrus Reduction, and 7th Heaven Organic Berry & Sweet Goat Cheese Tartlets. $30/person includes food, wine and takehome menus. On Wednesday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m., Meridian Vineyards will hold its Easter Entertaining Cooking Class where both cultured and casual chefs are invited to learn the art of pairing food and wine. Participants will enjoy an evening of food, flights and fusion while expert chefs from Trumpet Vine Catering prepare an Easter Entertaining menu featuring Smoked Salmon Baskets, Curried Egg Salad, Wild Mushroom Risotto and Bite-Size Beef Wellington. $30/person includes food, wine and take-home menus.
