Central Coast Gymnastics (CCG) will celebrate is 19th anniversary in San Luis Obispo on July 2 with free prizes, giveaways, hot dogs and beverages starting at 11 a.m. until supplies are gone.
Enter to win, among other prizes, a free month of tuition. CCG will also be celebrating with specials all day for potential new students who want to enroll for the summer.
“CCG was born on July 2, 1991 and has been a dream that has grown beyond my imagination when I first started it in the old SLO Library at 888 Morro Street (now the SLO Little Theater) that first day with only 10 kids,” said CCG President Mimi Phene-McKellar in an e-mail.
“Over the past 19 years, I have had the honor of working with some amazing people that came to CCG to work when they were in college and then went on to start careers, and families,” she added. “Some of my previous athletes that turned into coaches & staff that has gone on to marriage and having their own families are now bringing them to CCG, too.”
Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center is located in a 16,000-square-foot gymnastics facility at 21 Zaca Lane just off the Hwy 101 on Higuera Street by the new Meathead Movers Mini Storage.
From day one, CCG's excellent & well trained staff has ensured every child has a safe and fun experience. On an individual basis and in a team environment, CCG is dedicated to developing a solid foundation for each child to build on.
The goal of Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center is to inspire children of all ages to learn through fitness and movement, in its preschool, recreational and competitive programs along with providing a positive experience in any of Central Coast Gymnastics Programs, such as gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline (TnT), acrobatics, cheerleading, martial arts, as well as instill confidence and self-esteem within each athlete.
