A Holocaust survivor's story, today in SLO PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, 29 April 2010 02:04

The Jewish Community Center of San Luis Obispo and the Congregation Beth David will host Holocaust survivor Sara Moses today at 7 p.m.

Moses was one of the youngest children without parents to survive a Jewish ghetto and two Nazi concentration camps, Ravensbruck and Bergen-Belsen, where Anne Frank died. She will tell her story, one that moves audiences to tears.

In recent years, Moses has spoken to thousands of live audiences and millions more over the radio. Her story inspires people of all ages to see life from a new perspective. In her own words, she shares the lessons she learned from the Holocaust, which she believes can help communities today in dealing with a world still filled with cruelty, violence and genocide.

The event will be held at the Congregation Beth David, 10180 Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo.
