Synergy Health Group, and Dr. Karen Krahl, celebrated the grand opening of their new office with a special ribbon cutting ceremony last week.
San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce staff and ambassadors were there to join in the celebration and present a special certificate of congratulations from the Chamber and the City of San Luis Obispo.
Anyone can now find Synergy Health Group at 3440 S. Higuera St., Ste. 100 in San Luis Obispo. Previously located at the California Medical Center for three years, Synergy Health Group seems to enjoy the larger office space.
“We moved from 1,500 square feet to 1,800-plus square feet,” Dr. Krahl said. “This affords us the room to continue our multidisciplinary group approach. Currently, we are interviewing for an acupuncturist and massage therapist(s) who would like to share space in a busy, established, integrative health care facility. We also have an upstairs rehab area for postural strengthening, balance improvement, where we work with patients to stabilize their chiropractic results and get them started on resistance training. Our large conference room is being prepared for an ongoing curriculum for healing and longevity.”
Synergy Health Group services include physical examinations, imaging studies (x-ray or MRI are outsourced, but results are interpreted for use in treating patients for musculoskeletal problems), chiropractic manipulation using several different techniques, including Cox distraction manipulation, diversified laboratory testing and interpretation, therapeutic lifestyle interventions to reduce cardiovascular disease risk, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, digestive issues, detoxification and more, all while using nutritional counseling, exercise and fitness instruction, longevity protocols.
“This is a new and further chapter of what I've been devoted to for many years – integrative, preventive health care using the functional medicine approach to treating the whole person, and his or her lifestyle to effect a healthier ‘now’ and more healthy days in a longer life,” Dr. Krahl said.
