Fairyscape, a "green" alternative to the florist, held its Grand Opening with a special ribbon cutting ceremony presented by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce on April 21.

Fairyscape is the first eco-friendly alternative to cut flower arrangements that end up dying within a week from purchase. Its first storefront is located at 1236 Los Osos Valley Rd. #C (in Starbucks Shopping center, next to Taco Roco) in Los Osos, Calif.

It offers succulent wreaths, fairy gardens and living floral arrangements using only organic soil, U.S.-grown moss, colorful succulent plants and reused/recycled container purchase from local non-profits.
