First California Bank held a special open house with a ribbon cutting ceremony presented by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce earlier this month.
On April 5, members of the community, city officials, Chamber ambassadors and members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors welcomed the bank to San Luis Obispo.
The new branch, located at 1001 Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo, was formerly San Luis Trust, but was seized by the Office of Thrift Supervision and closed at the end of February. It officially reopened as First California Bank in March.
To help launch itself into the community, First California Bank is the proud sponsor of the 2011 Mixer Showcase, the largest business-to-business trade show on the Central Coast.
