Wallace Group, a multi-discipline consulting firm, has hired Dacé Morgan to be its director of civil engineering and transportation, and interim director for construction management. Morgan has worked on transportation projects in the private and public arena for 19 years. She joins the firm after serving the Central Coast community for the past nine years in the Public Works Department of the county of Santa Barbara. She served the last four of those years as the deputy director of transportation.
Morgan’s experience includes: •Infrastructure design and construction •Agency programming •Capital and operations budgeting •Federal, state and local transportation funding •Traffic operations and handling maintenance and development review •Bridge inspection, design and construction •Working with oversight and regulatory agencies such as but not limited to: - Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration - California Emergency Management Agency - Department of Homeland Security - California Department of Fish and Game - US Army Corps of Engineers - US Fish & Wildlife Service - California Coastal Commission Morgan’s experience further strengthens the Wallace Group team, and in turn, allows the firm to continue offering the best services to meet and exceed client expectations.
