The Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa welcomed the club’s new Officers and Directors on July 7 for the 2010-2011 year. Rotary de Tolosa strives to build connections both within the community and internationally. The club was founded with the focus on supporting the youth of the San Luis Obispo community and, in 2009-2010 alone, gave out more than $15,000 in grants to local organizations that support programs and activities for local youth. Rotary is an international organization of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace.
