Jan. 19, 2010 ---  Meathead Movers and Mini Storage will collect and deliver care packages for the Haitian people on Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The business hopes people will purchase items from the list below to help build care kits. All of the items specified below must be new and delivered to 144 Hind Lane, Suite 140, San Luis Obispo. The items needed include: - new hand towels
- new washcloths
- wide-tooth combs
- small bottles of shampoo
- new individually wrapped toothbrushes
- travel-size tubes of toothpaste
- adhesive bandages
- individually wrapped bath size bars of soap
- plastic travel-size soap dishes
- plenty of one-gallon size zipper-seal bags
Donors will not even need to get out of their cars. "Meatheads" will be ready to unload any of the previously mentioned donations and repackage them for a care package. Meathead Movers and Mini Storage will then transport all of the collected goods to "Heart to Hearts International" in Kansas City, and Heart to Hearts will ship the items to Haiti.
