Pacific Eye has grown even stronger now that Steven W. Dixon, M.D., has merged his practice with Pacific Eye.
The merger happened Aug. 1, but Dixon will continue to see patients in his current Lompoc, Calif. office. And many Pacific Eye doctors will begin to offer their services in Lompoc. Dixon’s standards for excellence in medical and surgical eye care will enhance Pacific Eye's service to patients on the Central Coast, the ophthalmology practice said.
“Through the years, Dr. Dixon has distinguished himself as a doctor with high clinical and ethical standards,” said Pacific Eye Managing Partner Ahmad Amir, M.D. “The addition of Dr. Dixon and the Lompoc office will help us better serve patients on the Central Coast.”
Dixon, a graduate of University of Iowa and Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine, has been practicing on the Central Coast since 1984 with an emphasis on cataract surgery, glaucoma care and general ophthalmology.
Pacific Eye, one of the Central Coast’s premier ophthalmology practices, has been offering patients the latest in technological advances and the most highly trained medical staff. With this recent merger, nine of the area’s top board-certified ophthalmologists will work together to offer a level of comprehensive eye care that is unparalleled.
Pacific Eye offices are located in San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Pismo Beach, Paso Robles, Morro Bay and now Lompoc.
