Linda Somers Smith, managing partner of Duggan Smith & Heath LLP based in San Luis Obispo, was recently honored as one of the "Top 50 Women in Business" in the Tri-County area by The Pacific Coast Business Times.

Somers Smith was recognized in the Professional Services industry category for her consistent leadership as the founder and managing partner of a majority women-owned law firm in downtown San Luis Obispo.

The 50 honorees, described as “leading the way in a dynamic era," were selected from companies throughout San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

The women were recognized in an awards ceremony on April 11 at Fess Parker’s DoubleTree Resort in Santa Barbara, where they were presented with awards from The Pacific Coast Business Times, as well as certificates of recognition from California State Assembly members.
