Nate Urton graduated Cum Laude from National University in La Jolla with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In addition to the academic instruction in the classroom, Urton's college coursework enabled him to gain hands-on experience in a variety Skilled Nursing Facilities and clinical situations in San Diego.
During the summers of his undergraduate years Urton participated in volunteer programs for senior citizens and at-risk youth. Urton gained valuable skills and perspectives as a student nurse and as a volunteer. For four months last year Urton resided with his grandparents so that he could assist his grandmother in rehabilitating his grandfather after his debilitating stroke. Additionally, his grandfather suffers from early signs of Alzheimer's disease. Urton's dedication to caring for his grandfather will give him the background to make a significant contribution to the health and well-being of clients and their families at LivHOME.
He is a member of the Pinnacle Honor Society for his community service and academic achievement.
