Jano Graphics has obtained General Requirements and Applications for Commercial Offset Lithography (GRACoL) certification. The qualification standards are set by the International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance), a non-profit that develops, educates, and validates publishing and information technology.
The program requires companies to undergo an audit process of press color measurement equipment, process control procedures, and quality of printing to qualify as a GRACoL master printer. There are also annual re-evaluations to ensure that standards continue to be met.
GRACoL-certified companies meet standards that lead to more print predictability, more efficient color management, and faster make-readies.
Jano Graphics is one of 18 printers in the state, and the only printer in San Luis Obispo County, that has this certification.
