Hathway Tech, one of the Central Coast’s leading web development firms, is relaunching its company with a new name, a new team, and new vision.
Hathway Tech has reinvented its site and company as Hathway, a comprehensive digital media agency. "I am extremely proud of our accomplishments over the years," Jesse Dundon, CEO and founder of Hathway. "While the new company has a very similar name to our old company, we want to be clear that dropping the 'tech' from our name represents a paramount shift in our focus." Last Friday, Hathway Tech relaunched its company as a digital media agency under the name Hathway. Its new website www.WeAreHathway.com showcases the talented new team of programmers, designers, consultants, and its impressive lineup of clients, including Expression College, UC Berkeley, and Pyramind, among many others.
"We can now provide our exceptional services to a larger number of clients while maintaining relationships with existing ones such as USA Eagles rugby team and Cal [UC Berkeley]," Dundon added. "It's easy to be proud of my company and what we do here at Hathway because we work with awesome clients in an industry that is growing every day." Hathway Technology Group, LLC was founded in January 2008 in the garage of two California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo graduates. Dundon and Kevin Rice had a dream of reinventing how web services are provided by leveraging open source technology to provide functional and attractive, yet affordable, websites. Their combined knowledge of technology and customer service, together with a mutual drive for success, generated a client list that demanded expansion. By December 2009, Hathway Tech had grown out of its garage office and moved into the San Luis Obispo Business Center. Its client base continued to expand, creating more demand for their time and services. Hathway Tech leveraged each new project and eventually assembled a stellar team of consultants experienced in programming, graphic design, search engine optimization and online business strategy. These additions broadened the team's talent pool and list of available services, opening the door for new opportunities and calling for an identity overhaul.
