The Economic Vitality Corporation (EVC) of San Luis Obispo County recently announced the successful completion of The Spa Central Coast expansion using business development services provided by the EVC.
EVC business resources in cooperation with Mission Community Bank and the City of Atascadero enabled The Spa to open an adjacent business called Haven Wine Bistro. “Helping businesses grow and create jobs in San Luis Obispo County is the EVC mission,” said Michael Manchak, EVC President. “For Kitty Arosteguy, we provided services in partnership with Mission Community Bank and the City of Atascadero to help achieve her business objectives.”
“There is a lot of talk in the community about starting businesses and creating jobs, but this partnership really delivered,” said Kitty, six year owner of The Spa Central Coast. “The EVC and Mission Community Bank made it possible for me to expand my existing business and open Haven Wine Bistro. I am happy to provide Atascadero with a new hospitality option and my Spa clients will enjoy it as well!” “The City of Atascadero is pleased to welcome The Spa Central Coast and Haven Wine Bistro. The City emphasizes a business-friendly environment, and the addition of these new businesses point to our success. By supporting organizations such as the EVC and fostering such businesses, Atascadero is creating a more vital business community and more job opportunities - - both top priorities for our community. Our strong relationships with the business community are showing great results.” stated Atascadero Mayor Roberta Fonzi. The Spa Central Coast and Haven Wine Bistro are open for business at 6105 Camino Real in Atascadero.
