The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association announced this week that the 2010 Concerts in the Plaza band lineup is complete. From more than 50 applicants, 13 of the area's greatest musical groups were selected to play for the upcoming annual concert season that kicks off June 4 and runs every Friday through August 27. The SLO Downtown Association Promotions Committee juried the entries, all local talent, based on a variety of criteria and eligibility with overall objectives of providing a diverse mix of musical styles, adding new artists while showcasing long time crowd favorites and ensuring that the music appeals to all sectors of the community.

- The Shival Experience

Performance dates have not yet been assigned. Musical styles range from rock, blues, reggae and Americana to country, CaliCubano and California rock.
