The city of San Luis Obispo’s Preliminary 2011-13 Financial Plan, which includes the work program for the Economic Development Major City Goal, is now available online at the city's website.

This work plan, which begins on page B-29 of the Preliminary Financial Plan (pages 71-77 of the electronic version) will direct the City's Economic Development efforts over the next two years and was created with input from the City Council, residents, the Chamber of Commerce and local business owners. 

The Council and the Chamber have expressed their satisfaction with scope of the work plan, including the development of a long term strategy for economic development in the City and the creation of head of household jobs.
 
Council will adopt the 2011-13 Financial Plan at a meeting on today.
