Earlier this month, Alpha Fire & Security Alarm Corporation founder and CEO Frank Rheinisch passed away after battling brain cancer.

In his honor, the Alpha Fire & Security Alarm Corporation is commemorating its 20th year in business servicing San Luis Obispo and the surrounding counties, with an eye toward a strong future.

The company wants to express, as its clients and associates already know, that Frank’s dedication to the business community of San Luis Obispo County and to his business partners was of utmost importance to him. Alpha’s many years of success in the community are owed to esteemed partners and colleagues, and the values behind this are firmly ensconced in the company’s ethos.

On the heels of this sad news, however, Alpha Fire is proud to announce that Frank’s son, Erik Rheinisch, has taken over the management of the Alpha Fire & Security Alarm Corporation.

Erik Rheinisch has been part of the Alpha Fire team prior to earning his B.S. in Industrial Technology from Cal Poly. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the California American Fire Sprinkler Association. This second generation of management will continue to work hard to bring the same expertise, loyalty and reliability to our business partners.

Alpha Fire & Security Alarm Corporation will continue to serve and grow with the community by maintaining the goals of superior service and prompt responsiveness.

In Frank’s honor, the Alpha Fire & Security Alarm Corporation will remain strong and continue to provide solutions to meet all of the fire protection and security alarm needs of San Luis Obispo and the Central Coast.

Founded by Frank Rheinisch in 1990, Alpha Fire Sprinkler Corporation quickly outgrew the garage it began in and went on to become the Central Coast’s only full-service fire protection company in 1998, with the founding of the Alpha Fire Alarm & Security Corporation. It expanded again in 2003 to include Alpha Fire Residential, and later Alpha Fabrication. The company’s fire protection system can be seen in residential, commercial, industrial and military buildings throughout the Central Coast and beyond.
