Financial services and investment company Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. celebrated the opening of a new location on 733 Marsh St., Ste. 100 in San Luis Obispo with a ribbon cutting ceremony presented by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.

The city of San Luis Obispo's Public Works Department recently completed a traffic safety investigation of the intersection of Sacramento Drive at Capitolio Way, and determined the intersection would be much safer if the existing two-way stop on Sacramento Drive be changed to a two-way stop on Capitolio Way.

With Sacramento Drive now connected to Orcutt Road, reversing stop control so Capitolio Way will stop instead of Sacramento Drive will provide for better traffic operations, improved sight distance and approximately three additional parking spaces. These changes will be implemented within the next several weeks.

Heritage Oaks Bank, for the second year in a row, is a major contributor to the Paso Robles Festival of the Arts which will take place on Saturday, May 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Downtown City Park and is free to the public.
