Residents may be voting in November on a local citizens' initiative, designed to thwart the City of San Luis Obispo's plan to extend Prado Road to connect South Higuera and Broad streets. Prado Road has long been planned to be an important arterial road connecting future areas for development in the southern part of the city. Come to Thursday's Good Morning San Luis Obispo to hear Mila Vujovich-La Barre, one of the initiative’s backers, share why she believes the road extension should be prevented. Mayor Dave Romero will explain why he believes the road alignment is necessary. Weigh in on this important issue. Deadline to register for this event is Tuesday, June 22 at 5 p.m. Click here to register online.
