SLO tank farm project update PDF Print E-mail
San Luis Obispo Tank Farm Project San Luis Obispo Chamber staff joined Chevron representatives Suzanne Parker and Bill Almas on a tour of the San Luis Obispo tank farm, where Chevron has proposed a major wetlands restoration and development.

The plan calls for the eventual annexation to the City of 332 acres surrounding part of Tank Farm Road. Chevron will allocate about 53 acres of that land to commercial service development and a business park; 250 acres are proposed permanent open space. Thirteen acres is reserved for two to three youth baseball fields.

Some additional elements of the suggested project are widening Tank Farm Road, utilities infrastructure upgrades, and widespread land remediation.
