John Ewan is the owner and president of Pacific Energy Company, a local solar and alternative energy retailer he founded in 1980. He’ll discuss his personal vision and goals for the Chamber this year.

As part of its Community Action Seminars program, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center is offering an informational discussion on what these new guidelines mean for you and how you can help reduce your risk of breast cancer.

French Hospital Medical Center offers monthly CPR class PDF Print E-mail

Jan. 14, 2010 ---

French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) will host monthly Heartsaver CPR and First Aid classes in 2010. All classes are open to the public and will be held on from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in FHMC’s Auditorium on the following dates:

  • February 1st
  • March 1st
  • April 5th
  • May 17th
  • June 21st
  • July 12th
  • August 9th
  • September 13th
  • October 11th
  • November 8th
  • December 13th

The Heartsaver class includes adult, child and infant automated external defibrillator (AED) instruction and training on AHA’s Chain of Survival techniques.  Participants will also learn on how to perform CPR and prevent choking in adults, children and infants. A community CPR card will be issued to each participant upon completion of the course.
