In an effort to help the wine industry reach new international markets, the Business & Entrepreneurship Center at Cuesta College will host a free wine exports symposium on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Galaxy Colony Square Theatre in Atascadero. Cal Poly Students Invite the Public to Stay ‘Up ’til Dawn’ for St. Jude’s Feb. 21 Students from across the Cal Poly campus will gather Feb. 21 for a letter-writing event aimed at helping St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – and they hope the public will join them. Cal Poly’s Kennedy Library will host DIY: Physical Computing at Play, a workshop to create a large-scale, computer-based, interactive game. The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10 in Kennedy Library’s second-floor lounge. The event is free and open to all skill levels. Participants will learn how to design and build a game using an Arduinos (an open-source electronics platform) and breadboards (reusable electronic test boards analogous to circuit boards).
