Will Aeromech move into the Dioptics building? PDF Print E-mail

Insiders report that San Luis Obispo’s Aeromech Engineering, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of small, high-tech unmanned aircraft, is in negotiations to take over the 100,000-square-foot soon-to-be-empty Dioptics building at 125 Venture Dr. just south of the city. Fast-growing Aeromech currently occupies several buildings on Ricardo Court. These negotiations are especially good news because of widespread fears that the recent purchase of Aeromech by a larger, out-of-town defense contractor would lead to them leaving SLO. The original owners and founders of Aeromech, who will remain with the company, have insisted that they intend to stay right here.
