SLO County’s most polarizing political figure, Sarah Christie, will announce today her resignation from the county planning commission. Christie’s “day job” is legislative director (read “lobbyist”) for the California Coastal Commission. Because of her strident positions, Christie has been an ongoing problem for District 5 Supervisor Jim Patterson who appointed her.
