General LED, a young high tech company in SLO that has been flying under the radar, has replaced CEO King Lee with one of the company's founders.

Lee had successfully managed several local tech businesses including Xtree, Xing and Wynd. He was brought in to manage General LED two years ago when the company expanded its scope and obtained new funding.

Lee has been replaced by Bryan Vincent, a Ph.D. scientist and inventor who had co-founded AgiLight -- now General LED's main subsidiary -- five years before. Vincent has several successful inventions in his portfolio including the embedded blinking lights in Nike sports shoes.
