Coast National Bank Assistant Vice President and SBA Department Manager Stephanie Schwan recently attended the 3rd Annual National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders Small Business Administration Lending Seminar in San Diego.

Long-time commercial pilot and flight instructor Wanda Strassburg has been appointed as a Designated Pilot Examiner by the Federal Aviation Administration Flight Standards District Office in San Jose.

Ann Glueck has joined the SLO Downtown Association as Promotions Assistant. Glueck will assist with dozens of events and special projects occurring in the downtown area.

Phyllis Madonna has been named "Woman of the Year for the State of California, 33rd Assembly District" by Assemblyman Abel Maldonado. Madonna was honored during a special ceremony at the state Capitol in March.

Efforts to preserve the historic Cuesta College Auditorium received a significant boost from Diane Blakeslee last month. Blakeslee donated $100,000, which help significantly in paying for renovation of the auditorium.
