The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden has named Cruz-Ann Duarte coordinator of its 9th Annual Garden Festival. Duarte brings a broad background of experience in event planning, public relations and work with non-profit organizations. This year's Festival will take place on May 6 and 7 in El Chorro Regional Park.

Associated Students of Cuesta College president Jake Wall has received national recognition for his efforts as a student leader. Wall was recently awarded the designation of Certified Student Government Leader during the 38th National Conference on Student Services in New Orleans.

Marian Anderson has been appointed Assistant Manager of FirstBank's new Edna Valley Branch at Marigold Center. The bank has also promoted several employees, including Ken Long, Stephanie Marden, Caroline McGarvey, Joni Knauer and Cathie Davenport.

Justin Vineyards & Winery recently announced the 10th Anniversary Release of its proprietary wine called ISOSCELES, a premium Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The new vintage will be available April 1, 2000. Cellular One recently signed a contract extending its financial support of Cuesta College's athletics department. To date,
