SHELLY STANWYCK TAKES OVER AS CITY'S NEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Shelly Stanwyck began her post as San Luis Obispo's Economic Development Manager this month. Stanwyck, the Chamber's former Governmental Affairs Director, holds a law degree from UC Davis and is a graduate of UC Irvine. "This is a great opportunity for the Chamber and the City to work together in advancing the business community's needs," said Stanwyck. "Because of my experience working with the Chamber and its volunteers and my unique knowledge of the business community, I think we're in a great position to move forward in furthering economic development in our community.
