CHAMBER BOARD VOICES SUPPORT OF DREAM

At its December Board meeting, the Chamber's Board of Directors voted to support the Diablo Resources Advisory Measure (DREAM) Initiative. The Initiative encourages the protection and preservation of 14 miles of coastline from Port San Luis to Montaña de Oro, land that is currently owned by Pacific Gas & Electric and surrounds the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant. Voters in San Luis Obispo County will be asked to vote on the Initiative on March 7, 2000.
