CITIZEN OF THE YEAR PRESENTATION

The 27th Citizen of the Year, and the last Citizen of the Year for the 20th century, will be announced and honored on January 15 at the Chamber's 95th Annual Dinner. The much anticipated black-tie affair is held in honor of the Chamber's volunteers and members in acknowledgment of their commitment to the community. Some 400 local business leaders are expected to join Master of Ceremonies Mike Cannon (Cannon Associates), at the gala in the Embassy Suites Grand Ballroom. Highlights of the evening include a multi-course gourmet dinner, dancing to the band Oasis and a brief program where the 2000 Chairman of the Board, Officers and Board members will be installed.
